Now tho, with everything combined I can say it makes it feel similar, but like an actual new game. Now, that's exectly what the previous "exandalones" did but this was such a large gap in time that people were disappointed. When it released it felt pretty much the same as the previous sins games with titans and slightly different playstyles. Imo, compared to the base game, these DLC make rebellion really feel like a new game. Want crazy pop sizes and taxes? Go for social, need more industry? Go for industrialization and boost production. This breaks up colonizing and allows you to have specialized empires. Stellar Phenomenon: new star and system types, and the best part is random events imo.įorbidden Worlds: new planets, planet specialization, and bonuses. It makes you need to plan expansions, smuggling gives you another playstyle especially vs the TEC economic machine. Outlaw sector: makes pirated more than just a point to ignore and a credit spam every time raiding happens. It actually makes diplomacy with AI a useful endeavor and can make for varried gameplay. Minor factions: add more people to the map which is HUGE for gameplay.
